Valentine's Day Lolita Wardrobe Collection

Happy Valentine's Day everybody! Even though I'm chronically single, I still enjoy this day quite a lot due to my undying love of pink, flowers, and chocolate. To celebrate today I thought I would make a post about one of my hobbies that I haven't really had a chance to talk about much on this website: Lolita fashion! This post is going to be a rundown of some of my favorite pieces I've acquired recently. This is by no means a comprehensive wardrobe post, although I might make an index of my full wardrobe at some point if that's something people are interested in

First up, a skirt from Baby the Stars Shine Bright. This is the Strawberries and Cherries Print Skirt from 2004. It's an old piece, but I got it a few months ago off lacemarket. The material wrinkles pretty easily, even when it's just folded up in storage, so I have to steam it pretty much every time I wear it.

This is one of my recent purchases from my favorite indie brand (and possibly my favorite brand in general), Wirehead. The clothes are made by only one person, so it can be quite difficult to get your hands on a piece. It's always a real treat when I’m able to get something I really want. As soon as I saw this JSK, I knew that I had to have it, so I'm glad I was able to pull it off! This is the Square Neck Gobelin JSK in the cream colorway (2025). I'm looking forward to wearing this one when spring hits!

This is my most recent purchase, the Bordeaux Bouquet Skirt and Headdress set (2026). It arrived just in time for me to wear it out tomorrow for a Valentine themed event. This is the piece that made me really fall in love with bordeaux. The color and matching headdress are absolutely gorgeous!

This Bouquet Shirring Skirt is a purchase I made back in 2024, but I wanted to include it here with my other Wirehead pieces.

This is a La Luice Rabbit Rucksack that I purchased new in 2025! I had some issues with the proxy service, as they accidentally sent me the wrong size and color the first time around, but it was worth it in the end to finally get this bag.

And finally, an item that I actually got to buy in person! I was able to get this tote at the Winter Harajuku Market in NYC (2026). In addition to being cute, it's large and quite sturdy, which makes it great for carrying around a lot of stuff. This was from a vendor called "Magical Girl Mortuary".

Over the past few months, I’ve been getting a better sense of what colors I like wearing, and what looks flattering on me. I’m starting to gravitate towards less saturated reds and pinks as opposed to colors like saxe blue, which tend to wash me out. Colors like dusty rose and bordeaux might be my signature colors from now on. If I look like a valentines day arrangement, I’ll know I’m doing something right.
